I hate to say it (not really) but I dont want this fig. IMO his appearance is inferior to to his first version.

It would look a lot better than this color scheme. A vehicle that looks like it'd be used by the ATF shouldn't be baby blue IMO.

 

I guess it shouldn't be red either, but I like red.

I like this guy, but I agree with MH about the coloring. 

I have the GF version and it just looks out of place with that coloring, but the red and orange actually work really well for this mold. 

I can see why colored protos make the news page, but I still laugh when I see uncolored Cybertron protos getting posted as "news."  I mean, the molds are identical to GF, so why bother??

 

(For that matter, can someone please tell me why they don't just run the Takara and Hasbro versions all at the same time instead of rebooting the process 6 months later for the Hasbro release of these guys??  :redface )

I like this upgrad. Colours and all.  :thumb The colours may not be real life accurate but they're anything but dull and really bring this mold to life IMO. As far as a repaint I personally think Overide with a bit of retooling and added streamlined trailer would make a much more convincing Rodimus prime. Pull of Overrides rear compartmen and you already have a futuristic truck.

That kicks ass.
