Bought the movie so it should be in soon. Curious as to how it will look.  :tftongue

I have a copy myself, and the picture is waaay cleaner & sharper than previous releases. Spike's swearing is also in the film- the first time it has been unedited in a (UK at least) version of TF:The Movie. My only niggles are that the edges of the film are a bit uneven (They change from scene to scene-some of the screen edges are 4:3, and ther times they are a little bigger, but with rounded edges. See attached picture for an idea) and the Headmasters episode has been available for ages on other DVD's -Although only as dubbed versions, not subtitled, as they are here. All other extras are just clips of the film for comparison to the older versions available- not something I'll watch again. These niggles are easily forgotten when you compare the picture & sound quality to other releases of the movie, so I'll forgive them the negative points. :tfdance

Oh, and BTW, the PSP version is just your bog standard original release of TF:The Movie, so if you have a memory card & the right software, just convert your existing DVD to MP4, and save yourself some money!

My friend got it, says there's extra sound effects, like prime's chest door creaking as it open's when he passes on the matrix of leadership, but don't know if he's seen it cause of the region coding. :tdown

Thanks everyone for the imput.

I will check it out myself. The DVD was shipped yesterday so I should have it soon. (I hope so.  :tftongue )

Now I will have 3 DVD version of the movie, the non-curse one with Dutch subtitles (handy for my little nephew) the original cinema version (region 1) and this one.  :tfgrin

Oh well, with a collection of over 450 DVD's I am bound to have a few doubles.  :tflaugh

I was amazed by how much cleaner the picture was, with a lot of reworked films I struggle to see a diffrence but the version of the movie is so colourfull, I was really surprised how much easier to make out everything and everyone was.

Primes new gunfire is quite good and overall this version is really well worth buying even if you already have it.

Is it well worth buying if you have it twice.  :tftongue

Should be getting it in this week, hopefully soon. Cannot wait to watch it.

Transformers The Movie is still one of my all time favorite movies.  :thumb
