I have to agree with LMH - we have known what "Transtech Prime" was theoretically going to look like for a long time!

I think Marcus Prime even uses the Transtech design in his Sig...

 

so there is no reason for the fandom to get all hibidyjibidy over these "internal memos" from hasbro....

 

Anyway - i think the cab of RiD prime and the new GF/C Prime look like gundams - but then i have been suggesting that Hastak has been recyclikng these "lost" designs ever since Armada on all the characters anyway....

Still despite the crappiness of this design, the Transtech show would have been great.  It would have made BM bridge the gap between this and BW instead of just getting BM

RiD was gonna happen anyway -- it was a filler series designed to test market vehicular TFs (a notion which seems ridiculous in retrospect).

Although, I'm sure the failure of Gen2 vs. the success of Beast Wars was fresh in Hasbro's mind...

I kinda like both the truck and robot mode.
