Transtech Megatron Style Study Board

Recommended Posts

For your viewing pleasure (to those interested) I have posted an image of the style study board for Megatron that was utilzed to convince management that the proposed Transtech line would do well at retail.

You can check out the image by going here: http://www.behindthetoys.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=7202

Feel free to discuss the study board here as well as at www.behindthetoys.com

Retro looking logo.

Cool looks freaky, just to note that Draxhall Jump who did the transtech drawings we have seen were working on the cartoon models and not the toyline.  I do not beleive that a Transtech Megatron hardcopy was made though the Draxhall Jump drawing we ahve seen certainly offers cues to Armada Megatron

color change sounds cool, but the figure as a whole...meh.

I agree but it was just a design study, its not been engineered or anything

That Megatron is just a mock-up and not intended to look anything like the final product, it's just art to say this is the direction we are going in.

I'm surprised someone hasn't jumped in here and said "cool, where can I get one?" yet.

Ironically, the photo is of a repainted and somewhat modified Gundam model.

It's quite obvious to me that it was just painted in camo and given legs to become Megatron.

yeah, it's defininately a zeon model of some sort. maybe the Quebely.

I rest easy at night knowing somewhere in the bowels of Hasbro - there's a Gundam fan. :)
