So finally I got my Season 2 Part 2 set from ebay... The only problem is, is that its some sort of Chinese set (chinese subtitles).  Everything plays fine but the box set is weird.  Its not the fold out style like the regular american version and it has 6 disc instead of 4.  Do I have extra episodes?

 

Anyone want to trade for the regular american version?  Or should I be happy with what I got?

i've got the season 2 part one set and it's on 5 discs. i'm not too bothered about it as it's just a button press to turn the subs off and all the episodes are there too be watched. i do sometime intend to buy the metrodome set though as the chinese set does not have all the extras

Its the only set I'm missing.  And since I missed all of Season two as a kid i don't know what happens and its annoying me.  I want to know hoe megs survived the lava.

He just does I'm afraid, no technical explanation. He's just there in the first episode of season 2 without explanation as to how they survived.

S2P2 I thought is one of the coolest.  You get 4 new combiners, Devastator gets pwnd, you hardly see Spike, Michael Jackson get called out by name, Seattle/Tacoma get called out by name (can't remember any other cities that get called out, besides New York), ect...

 

Then you get a 20yr gap between the end of the Season and the begining of the Movie.

 

You start asking a bunch of questions... Like, did Sparkplug die of a heart attack or did he get stepped on?

Personally i liked season 2...all of it...the best. I had to return my original part 2 box set because ones of the discs did not function.

Apart from Bruticus episodes and Kremzeek i really didnt like S2P2

I just got it on DVD. I rented it from Blockbuster earlier this year and decieded to buy Robotech DVDs instead. Like others, I was surprised that S2P2 disappeared so fast off the shelves.

 

IMO Season 2 Part 2 is not the greatest DVD set, but it is a lot better than Season 3 & 4 which is just whack. I finally saw Season 3 Part 1 & 2/Season 4 on DVD last month and remembered why I quit buying transformers after TFTM.

 

Try the End Cap...I just trading an Alt. Prowl for S2P2 and got more than one offer.
