Attention all BT-15 Prowl owners

The mirrors are fine on my BT Police Prowl. Then again, I've never tried to open the doors with them so I wouldn't be 100% sure. Think about it this way, if the mirrors survive a shipment from Japan don't you think they'd be fine through intercontinetal mail?

I was fortunate to examine each box before I made my purchase. Mirror no prob. But my left door popped out and it doesn't stay back on easily.

"nope, no problem here!"

I bought mine when they came out and have not had a problem. Of course I was warned about the problems, so I don't pull on the mirrors. I would say that BT Prowl is worth getting, just be careful.

MoP, yeah I use that logic all the time! It's just that, as I pointed out earlier, there were a number of complaints when the BT-15 was released about fragile mirrors.

I placed my order tonight for both versions of the BT-15 and I get them Friday, rock on!    :thumb

Glad to hear that you ordered them, hope you enjoy them as much as all of us seem to have.

I have the blue and the police car  no problems but I do baby my toys. I had to get em since I have an RSX

here is a Prowl tip.. fold the pieces under the door down first... then stick your finger in to open the doors... DON'T USE THE MIRRORS

Off topic, but I would recommend doing the leg mod on this one. It really improves the figure, doesn't change the transformation at all really and is completely reversible if you don't like it.

I also agree w/ Hot Rod,

here is a Prowl tip.. fold the pieces under the door down first... then stick your finger in to open the doors... DON'T USE THE MIRRORS

this is very good advice.

Hope you enjoy your Prowl.

I have both the blue and police version of Prowl and have had no problems with either.  I even did the leg swap on the police version to seperate it a little more from the Blue RSX with the repainted Smokescreen head attached.  It looks great, it really does.

My blue Prowl fell 2 shelves. :eek  Surprisingly. Nothing broken. Not a scratch. Now that was scary. F'ing loose ball joint feet.

The same exact thing happened to me yesterday with my blue Prowl.  Fell four feet onto the carpet, he landed on a door (which popped off) but nothing was broken and no scratches.  Whew...

However, I have to say, Prowl has the worst quality control yet.  Two complaints surrounding the wing mirrors - passgenger side was seriously glued down with glue smeared all over the inside of the window, while the driver side mirror wasn't glued at all  :wtf  .  Also, one of my rear bumpers had a pretty half ass paint job, almost looks like the spraying machine ran out of paint half-way thorugh  :grr .
