Underappreciated figures

Recommended Posts

You guys have hit on 2 that I really like, Nemesis Prime & BT/Alt. Swindle. I wish I hadn;t sold my Nemesis Prime. He looks a lot better in person, pics don;t do him any justice. The bone colored parts look great on him since he is a transforming mammoth.

Another one I never really hear anyone rave about is RM Beast Convoy. He rocks in all kinds of ways. He is armed to the teeth for a little guy.

Universe Reptillion and Snarl

RiD Axer, Sideways, Nitecruz

1. Energon Divebomb. I live this guy, he looks very, very cool in both modes, is simple and fun. The perfect toy for a kid.

2. Armada Megatron. He's one of the coolest Megatron figures made, only to be dismissed because he's froma crappy line and has bad knees.

3. RiD Air Attack Optimus Primal. It's not that anyone thinks he's bad. In fact, praise is pretty much universal. However, he's suffered from "he's not as good as MP Prime" syndrome, so he's usually passed over when people are talking about the great toys.

Honorable mention is RiD Megatron, who really shines with creativity an ingenuity.

Armada Supercon Prime is a nice little figure with a simple yet effective transformation method, looks especially nice in the Japanese clear version.

RID Optimus Prime - not much to say on this one other than the fact that it rocks and kudos has to be heaped upon its shoulders some more with its immenent re-release in Cybertron

*Jawdrops.* Those are two of the most highly rated TFs period. rarely do you find people disliking them. Hell, I think i'm just about theo nly person who doesn't like Bendy Prime!

Underrated figures.... hmm.... I'd say Energon Optimus Prime. He generally is very disliked, though it seems like people have finally let up on him and have figured out just how much play value he has.

it's also becuase he has almost zero posibility, and came right after a lien that had wonderful posibility.

he does rule though. I have a knockoff of him that kicks ass.

that tan/camo Galaxy Defender?  I thought it looked good, but I don't like the mold enough to buy another one.

I'd have to say Clocker is one. I've heard a lot of people who don't like him. I know Hasbro royally screwed up the paint on his back end/legs but I still think he's an awesome figure.

Beast Machines Mirage. In the year and a half I've been on the message boards, and have read through various appreciation threads I don't think I've ever seen him mentioned once.

Armada Thrust. Sure he had no hands, but he was nice and poseable and he was one of the few figures whose minicon was nicely integrated into his alt mode.

I do love clocker, in fact, i head a thread called "i (heart) clocker" before.

the other one for me would be Armada mini prime (the toy that didn't come with the trailer) that was the onl armada figure i bought.

Wheelie! Who can hate a bright orange TF with his face in his chest.

Seriously tho.... Alt/BT Grimlock rocks.

Aside from a few very agreeable entries I'd like to add:

Energon Battle Ravage (+ Repaints)

Armada Predacon. Even in a bad color sceme, he still is eeeeeeevil.
