I guess some collectors are dedicated to having every official TF fig out there. The crazy thing to me is if you can afford $70+ to buy a basic class fig, why could you afford to fly to Texas and buy for cheaper? I can't even force myself to buy Alt Prowl online once the price is beyond $30.

So... could one technically finance a good chunk of one's trip to this Botcon dealie? :)

 

I got in on a group buy for Chromia at a reasonable price. I want Flareup too but not at prices Hasbro only dreamed of charging. :eek

Well, some could point at me and ask why I think it is such a big deal after buying Primus.  But there is a huge difference in my mind between a new mold proto and a production piece basic repaint that was a freebie to attendees.

 

Seeing some of the prices...I am kicking myself for not trying to acquire more figures to resell.

I say sell it.  NOW!  Before the craze dies down and the prices drop.  More than half of the cost of the trip was covered between selling my exclusives and winning the contest.  :thumb
