Has this happened to anyone else?

 

I bought a Wheeljack alternator, to find the gun handle is missing... the part was never in... (I searched the floor for a good 10 minutes to confirm this)...

 

Emailed hasbro, and they said to send it back... saying they'd replace it with another or one of "equal value"... what are the chances that I'll end up with another eh?

I'm glad this hasn't happened to me yet. this is just like the missing Swerve Missle thread.

 

I wouldn't trust hasbro to send me Wheeljack. you might get Smokescreen or E Ironhide.

It's not an easily removed/replaced part either.:-( 

 

All you can really  do is put up a want ad for  a Grimlock/Windcharger gun unless you want to shell out for an entire Grimlock.

Has Alt quality control gone down, or is it just coincidence that this and the swerve missle thing both popped up at once?

Ok, the gun handle?  The rest is there?  The block, 2 guns and the pin?

 

I'd MAKE one.  You can use most anything really.  It just needs to be a rectangular piece of plastic that fits with a hole in it. 

 

Will need to cut a square peg that will fit inside the slot on the bottom of the gun.  If there is a silver pin use some kinda ice pick to push it through and out, and a pair of plyers and pull it out all the way.  If there is no pin, use a nail.  Find one that will fit in the hole, stick it in and use some kinda either saw to cut it to size or some times wire cutters on plyers will work (also might ruin your tool). 

 

You can probably even use a part of a model kit tree's round pipe, cut down to the right size, drill a hole in it and then fit into place with the pin. 

 

It won't be perfect but it's hidden in engine mode, and its hidden in the bots hand in gun mode so its not a huge deal.  (maybe one of these customizers who changed it to Laserbeak or something has an extra)

 

Any which way it won't have the stupid palm pegs but it'll work.  (those pegs hardly work in my opinion anyway)  Its such a hidden spot all the time, its really not a huge deal. 

 

You got a Wheeljack!  It took me months my self.  Sooner or later the engine will probably turn up in lots on ebay, that'll tide ya over.
