But i want to say that Evac/Live-Convoy is one of the most FANTASTIC TOYS in the entire TF lines ever...

 

But my question is -  if he has been here on earth and dormant for all this time - what was he back before the Industrial Revolution??

 

why didnt he show his face in Armada or Energon?

(i already know the answer: Hasbro is full of dumbasses - but i am curious if there is an actual explanation)

well chromia had a beast mode as a mirmade(sp) so maybe he was a legendary beast aswell

 

seeing as in GF he had no clue about cybertron idd say he woke up save the army guy then spent the last few years helping people in the mountins not knowing about prime. man i h8 hasbro for linking energon/superlink to cybertron/galaxyforce it makes so many plot holes its silly

I love Warren Ellis, I just haven't been able to catch up on that series, considering I just got Bone and Top Ten: The Forty Niners, and my comix budget is constantly at war with my TF budget.

That particular series is less than spectacular - but its the closest thing to Transformers that Ellis has done

Actually in one GF episode, not sure about Cybertron, She's attacking a ship and singing and they call her Lorelei, to which she responds that she hand't heard that name in a long time.

 

The lorelei is a creature similiar to a mermaid, but far more beastal, it was said to sing songs compelling sailors to come to it, and thus drown in the sea.  Kinda like the sirens.  The concept being that Chromia and all the other Decepticons trapped by Autovolt and Live Convoy had been the mythological monsters of the past.

thats pritty much what i wanted to say. so to me it makes sence that evac and autovolt would of been beasts aswell only good things like unicorns and that sorta stuff

What I'm really trying to figure out is if Hasbro is just going to dump the whole "G1 transformers cameo in an episode of Galaxy Force" thing. By that rationale, the first age of transformers would have had to existed before an ice age completely wiped all life off of the face of planet earth, only to have a second human evolution occur with humans happening the exact same way as the first time. Because otherwise the Armadaverse would have to exist in the same reality as the original Transformers universe. Which is impossible to reconcile.

there is a simple way to explain this but i doubt Hasbro will utilize it:

 

Remember the Vok? who's to say that after the Beast Wars ruined their first experiment on Earth, they didn't terraform another planet similar to Earth so they could repeat the experiment? they certainly had the power to do so. the Vok could have terraformed multiple Earth-like planets. so far, i could count 4: the G1 Earth, the Armada/Energon Earth, the RiD Earth, and the GF Earth. and each earth is at a different level of technological development.

That's not a half bad idea, but remember, this is a show ostensibly for kids, not one of Philip K Dick's novels. Gawd, now there's an idea. Phil Dick writes transformers.
