God, that thing's like my Escort ZX2's nemesis. Expect that it probably runs... :redface and isn't in need of the "ol' yeller" treatment like mine. :P

 

I want to upgrade to a Grimlock, but the Mustang's (after a test drive I learned) are freakin' blind spot city! So I may have to find an alternative to owning an alternator. I may just say screw it and trade my car in for a Ram pickup truck. :drool God, I love those things.

Actually, if ya wanted to add some black racing stripes they'd look good on that.  Make a refit Deadend out of it maybe.  Try extremedimensions.com.  They've got some good stuff.  I'm not sure how much you're wanting, but they've got a crap-ton.

Thanks for the link, but I don't like bodykits on Eclipses :thumb.  Except for the third-gens...they need something.  I like kits on most cars, but not all of them.  Mustangs are another car I like to see without body mods.  Cavaliers are really cool cooling with kits, though.  I was going to get one for my car, but I had too many miles on the engine to warrant doing it.  By the time I traded it in, I had big problems with it, so it all worked out, in the end.

 

If I got stripes, I think I would get them in black.  Still, I've had a run in (or 7) with the cops before, so I think I stand out enough in this tiny town as it is.

Heard that.  My town's pretty small too.  They ride our butts around here if the car looks like a tuner.  Some of my racer firneds warned me of that ahead of time.  I don't plan on racing though. 

 

 

UPDATE: My body kit and wing are here.  They arrived yesterday, and hopefully will be put on by tuesday or wednesday of the is coming week.  I'll be sure to take plenty of pics for you guys!

As for headlights and tail lights...hm.  I really like a lot of masked headlights that I've seen.  It definitely adds something to a lot of cars' appearance.  As for tail lights, you can go right or wrong depending on what you get.  I'm not a huge altezza fan, but I've seen some cool ones out there.

I was considering the masked headlights or possibly getting those smoke/black covers, cuz the decals I get will be black to break up the gold a little.  So they'd go with it.  As for taillights, I was thinking about carbon fiber.  Very few people in my area have them, but everyone has chrome.  I don't want what everyone else has.

 

I'm gonna try to drop off the car tomorrow morning as I go to work so the guys can get started painting the kit/wing.  I'll see if I can get some pics of the parts before they go on.

Good news and bad news, guys. 

 

Good: I got to see the parts for the car this morning before they began painting.  I'm excited to see how they turn out.

 

Bad: it may be two weeks before the guys can get to it.  They have a lot of people ahead of me, and as you know it's first come first serve.
