As for the simultanuous (?) co-existence of those characters... Sure why not. The movie-cartoon made them scrap Thundercracker/Skywarp to get the new characters (avoiding a sore topic about who's who), but the US comics made Scourge and Cyclonus new characters who indeed co-existed with S/T. (And yes, I am aware than Furman solved this with his UK comics.) And from the looks of it, DW was on the same track.

Basically, the movie events didn't happen in the comics. Well, except for an alternative reality from which a future galvatron (who had destroyed Rodimus Prime and most of the Autobots and ruled earth) was plucked.

 

Cyclonus and Scourge were just regular TF's (not creations from Unicron) and were introduced as two of Scorponok's grunts/troops. (Cyclonus was even,verbally, put down by Scorponok when he made a (dumb) remark.) In the UK comics Furman had Cyclonus and Scourge transported back in time by a time protal created by Unicron. Back in the past they enlisted with Scorponok, making events come full circle. And creating a feedback through time which caused the Time Wars.

 

You should really read the (US) comics because they're really great.

I was just thinking of diong the seekers as well since I got the trackers... I remember seeing Skywarp and Thundercracker transforming into the triangular spacejets when they were still on Cybertron from the G1 TF cartoon. Thats how it triggered me of making them, using the current GF Starscream mold(I have never like the smaller Earth jet GF Thundercracker mold anyway).

 

ok so now, in the center, Galvatron,

left side, Soundwave Starscream Skywarp Thundercracker,

right side, Cyclonus Scourges and his 2 drones...

Well, if we completely forget the "armada" then there was one seeker left.  Uknown if it was thundercraker or skywarp, if we're going by botcon then skywarp was the only one left.  ((besides starscream's ghost))  Then thundercracker became scourge, so cyclonus, scourge, and skywarp could co-exsit....

why would you want to do 3 identical custom repaints??

but of course not totally identical. maybe abit of modification here and there. Starscream Skywarp Thundercracker have always been my fav seekers. If im not wrong, Bombshell became Cyclonus, Thundercracker and the other 2 insecticons became Scourge's drones. There were TWO cyclonus(or isit his drone?) in the movie if anyone could remember that.
