I agree, both are HUGE in terms of having everything accounted for... instead of leaving blanks...

That scene should have been included, because when I saw it originally on tv I was like "What the heck!, what about G1 Megs spark?".

I just assumed they did put the spark back. What else were they going to do with it? They wouldn't have forgotten, I mean Optimus ticked off Vok-Tigerhawk just to preserve the timeline.

I liked if you watch the animatic version, there are several more deleted scenes. Though very brief ones.

For example the fight between megs and primal goes a bit longer. There's a very funny bit where Megatron Smacks optimus upside the head with the Covenant of Primus.

while it was easily assumed, sometimes you have to point blank state what happens when you have a major plot point like this, otherwise you leave the question open. they didn't even HINT at what happened. they just go along their merry way. it's no wonder so many people thought it was with him. there was nothing to indicate it had been taken out. hell, the only reason I didn't think of that is because I was 11 when I saw it. :lol

 

pretty much the only flaw of BM i think even MH would stipulate too... they should have said G1 Megatron's spark was put back, seeing as how BW didn't.

Really two scenes that only observant (read petty) fans would've complained about their exclusion. They break up the flow of the episode, which is already rushed.

Actually just started watching BW Season 3 again w/ my girlfriend. Didn't know that easter egg was there, but definitely gonna have to check it out once I get past those episodes.
