I cant remember if i posted before about my Menasor here in TFans, and with the search function disabled, im not sure anymore...

Overall, its inspired by TFMaster original Menasor (not the final version he sold on ebay weeks ago, but one of his painted WIPs also posted on that thread, before he went with dye) with several own ideas, like Dragstrip mainly

 

I started him last year, around april if memory serves right, worked and worked until January, and then left in hiatus until march or april again... then another hiatus thanks to school and other projects

 

Then i decided to remake several pieces, such as the different connectors (Waist & Arms mainly). Also, i started to paint some pieces, the limbs mainly

 

As for a teaser, well, here´s the combined form way back in January

Aside from the project (looking GOOD by the way)  I just gota say its so nice (I think, sad perhaps) to see that my craptacular work shop is about the same as some of yours.  1/2 completed projects stacking up, worked on in the confines of a "Everything" room. 

 

I really wish and hope we can all get a place some day that has a work shop and display area for doing nothing but customizing TF's. 

 

1/2 my problem is I don't have the room to complete things, and by the time I get done putting things away or getting things out, things get lost or takes too long and I run out of time. 

 

Woke up this morning with a couple possible sollutions to a problem I am dealing with custom wise...and I had to delay it (now for another week) because clean laundry and such were in the way. 

 

Good work on the custom, exellent idea.  Lets hope Hasbro takes notice and gives us a GOOD remake of menasaur (and not 2 dupes, 4 totally new cars!!!)

Motormaster is alive!!!

 

I got a new pair of legs, and like divine inspiration, i figured a better way to make cool legs, and yet, keep the vehicle mode almost intact

 

I started to paint some pieces, but i still ned to do some touch ups on the connector parts

Front

 

thanks to the shoulder articulation in Gestalt mode, i had to remove the front wheels, but i found a nice way to reattach em for small robot & vehicle mode, by using the connectors of the gun

 

 

 

A top viewof the cab, those are the upper legs and knee

 

 

 

The feet and the torso connector, they arent attached to anything, just slighty hold by the smaller robot feet... for the torso piece, im gonna find a way to attach it firmly

 

 

 

The torso connector and legs attached, obviously needs some work and painting, but im in love with it, compared to how big and heavy was originally

Seriously though that looks awsome. I was going to ask if it transforms but after going through the link you posted I see it does. I really liked how you did Dragstrip on alt mode. Now that's inovation. :thumb

 

Glad you found the motivation to continue with this. That looks like it took a hella lot of time and patience.  Anyways best of luck with future progress and can't wait to see how everything looks/transforms when finished.
