Sorry if this is old but I dont remember seeing this anywhere upclose.

 

I know, I know. Decepticharge's head was the originally planed to be the head of WindCharger. Even still in this sketch of what could have bee Cybertron Megatron's head, it looks so damn close to DC's head it's wild. Tell me what you think.

WHOAH.  Talk about a G1 head.  Now, if they put that on the Cybertron Galvatron body, you'd have a pretty nice nod in both coloring and head style to G1 Megatron.

looks like megatron's head was originally going to be the G1 style Bucket Head. but IMHO, that head just wouldn't work with the overall design asthetic of the toy.

Me too. It's a hell of a coincidence that Windcharger's restylized head looks that much like megs. I wish I could talk to the designers and artist directly. that would be a cool option on Transformers.com.

I see nothing wrong with the head either but megs has the whole crown thing going on lately.

the head they used is fine.

 

 

but this one would've been better.

i like both styles but the g1 concept would of been nice and would of looked gr8 next to sound wave and screamer. the devil horns have grown on my tho and i have to say this is my fav megatron mold
