If I had the money, I'd definitely snag this one.  Good price, I believe.

Europe gets the shaft now, but they had a lot of cool TFs in the early 90s.

 

EDIT: The Rotorstorm illustration reminds me quite a bit of Dreadwind's.  I imagine them as rivals when I see their respective drawings.

Personally I am okay with my MW Sandstorm.  Oh wait though, the G2 UK toys actually fired their missiles right?  Hmmm.....

 

The Universe version probably doesn't have firing missiles either, does it?

I'm not sure, but the MW toy lacks the pinache of the original...Look at that G2-era paintjob :thumb.

Funny, the turbomasters got banned every else for being too accurate. No safety standards here!

the turobmasters were the oponents of the predators, they were not actually G2 but the last line from g1.

 

all of them had yellow missles that fired really far. mw didn't have the missles and for the whirl repaint they gave him new missles akin to safety standards.

 

i just wish i'd took care of mine, he might still have the rotor and the back end of the helicopter as well as some of the missles.

 

storm (as he was called in some places) is one of the best of g1, he's dated now but for a g1 toy he's of excellent quality. it's just unfortunate that where as some of the other tfs from the turbomasters featured in dreamwave's comics, Storm did not

Considering the prices for new Energon and Cybertron toys here in Norway, the price for this collector's item is pretty nice.  It would cost me $50 to buy ultra class Energon figures new at the toy store (Ironhide, jetfire, etc.)

 

I'd much rather spend that money on something a bit more unique.
