OverRide's sex change???

Recommended Posts

Male or Female - my main gripe with the toy is that the chest and shoulders are WAY to big - and blocky

Why does he/she need that Gigantic cockpit if Spedia doesnt have human/Diaclone drivers?!?!?!

i say remove the cockpit all together and replace it with one about 2/3 the size and Rounded.

Her legs are so round and sleek and yet his Upper body is so blocky....

lame

Hunter

(i would also love to see a rounded version of Crupmlezpne - not cause i need a Fembot - but because i think the blockiness and squared angles work against the mold)

Best way to do a gender swap would be to knock off every angled join, make everything curvy and smooth.

Also, I'd say the stereotypical change would be to a ligtish red colour.  Yes folks, i'm talking about Pink!

I've attached a japanese webcomic pic which shows a more feminine Nitro Convoy

Okay, looking at it, the main problem here is the chest/cab area. I think it can be reworked by putting a tri-fold" joint in the chest. You see, a tri-fold joint is similar to the one that alt smokescreen has for the floor of the car to fold in and become his stomach in robot mode. By including a similar joint, the quick-change mechanism could be retained, and the chest could be made far more slender. (for those of you who don't get my idea, the chest would fold along this joint and compact down vertically, reducing the width in robot mode.) Needless to say, the joint would have to run vertically, and the canopy would have to be attached seperately to the top of the chest, on a sprue or pylon that would retain the canopy hinge. The upper shoulder pylons on the chest will have to be reworked to allow room for the head when the chest is foled, but from what I see, it shouldn't affect the alt mode. (yes, I'm looking at remy's pics of both robot and alt mode.)

The face can be made more feminine by sanding down the jawline slighly. Also, reducing the overall thickness of the neck would help greatly. The upper ars should be sanded  (the orange part), and rounded off a bit more.

The upper hips look like material can be added to round them up a bit more as well, ans the lower legs could be slenderized in certain areas a bit.

Overall, I would have to attempt one myself (very tempted to!), but it looks to me like it isn't exactly impossible.  It will just take a bit of re-engineering on the chest to accomlish this. The rest is probably more cosmetic than anything.

Hope this help you guys out! Good luck! :thumb

And That Right there was exactly what I was loking for when I started this thread, whether its possible or not, and IDEA of how to feminize her.  Thank you and good night.

edit:Is there any way to put a slidding joint in her lower legs that way a longer thigh could be instald and have her legs longer in her Bot form????

I see no reason why not; perhaps if it doesn't interfere with the transform, a longer thigh w/o a sliding joint could be installed. it's all a matter of making sure it T/F's okay.

In the Toy discussion - someone mentioned that the Auto-TF mechanism is what causes the chest to be soo big.

I say do away with THAT! for starters....

How do you explain Uni-boob Noisemaze? Breast Cancer survivor?

Amazon warrior.

I don't know why people think that fem-bots can't be block-y....or at least a little box-y.

They are robots therefore they are boxy. If they weren't then it would be like Getter Robo or Beast Machines style.

Why is it that people equate robots with straight lines and squares anyways?

Boxes are the most space efficient and stackable design. They just don't offer themselves to aerodynamics well.

See if this was a REAL woman I'd be just FINE with her having a big ole chest :P

there is no feminin look to te figure at all. it is just a robot trying to look bling. just change the name to overdrive and the only change i would make as i think they look ugly is the red engine things on the top of the shoulders i would paint siver as red looks cheap
