yes it is. he has the same die cast parts as the real one. i own him. why pay hundreds of dollars for one that has more pretty colors, a mace, and a mousepad? i didn't and i got this toy

It's not a bad toy.  I have one.  And all the wording is just marketing of course.

If I ever decide to actually buy this guy (which I've yet to, Cybertron's too compelling), I will order stickers from Reprolabels,com and paint up the face, get rid of the orange. By the time I'm done, I plan on having it look like the real thing minus the copyright stamp. :D

I've seen this thing so often on ebizzle.  I'd consider getting it, but even a real G1 Megatron doesn't interest me that much.  For some reason, I much prefer G2 Megs.  It's probably because his bot-mode doesn't look like ass.

i have seen it sell for 9 bucks on ebay before.
