The four ancient TFs was just a nice nod/homage to the past series, nothing more

GF soundwave totally rules.  It has to be better the the original of course.

can't be G1...

i only like soundblaster

He's not G1 Soundwave? I'm confused...

In GF Transformers are not public knowlage, In G1 The Autobots have press conferances and have a city on Earth, the two don't mix.

Haven't you ever heard of different dimensions? G1(well, at least post-movie) could prolly even be happening simultaniously with GF/Cybertron, except in 2 different realities in the SAME continuity.

Are you saying that Soundwave migh have jumped dimensions?

Well, if GF is taking place in "modern times" (IE 2005) then they could be happening alternatively. But I doubt soundwave jumped universae. I think that is just a trendy cybertronian music player, like a transforming iPod that happens to look like a TF from ANOTHER DIMENSHUN! WOOO!

Not unlikely. It happens in Sci-Fis all teh time! :tflaugh

But seriously, that's the best-case scenario, IMO.

We seem to already know that Primus explains the GBH as being something from "another age", and we have the pic of the four ancients (Prime, Hot Rod/Rodimus?, Ultra Magnus and JAzz?) as the original four planet key holders.

Can I see that pic?

Also, a wild guess: GF is a G1 universe were Transformers didn'tcrashon earth and didn't go through coma.
