I liked the part when the sideview mirror came off.  It's funny because it's true.

I just dont get how so many people have managed to pull off the wing mirror.  I ahve had loads of these both BT and Alt versions and havent pulled them off, admittedly they feel a littlw weak which is why i dont pull on them ;) Perhaps being watchful on protos has made me that much more careful

Please, continue to brag about how many multiples of each Alt/BT mold you have. :roll

J/K, Jag...sorta.  ;)

Most Prowl reviews have been pretty lousy. I hate it when people say, "BT XX rocks, this is the best BT to date!" and give no specific reasons why it is the best to date. Yours covered everything that an experienced, casual, or new BT fan would want to know, good review!

FWIW my Prowl doesn't have the side mirror problem so many seem to have. They're actually pretty sturdy. I tried (VERY CAREFULLY) to wedge them a tiny bit to see if they'd accidentally snap, but they haven't. Fortunately, the "crown"/horns have stayed on, too.

well I have..............

:P

on a separate note and another look it seems funny that the design has `grown` the connecter pieces that allow the door to stay closed more securely at the expense of the wing mirrors.  Th original proto didnt have these and the doors could be opened via the mirrors with no worries at all as it is the most natural way, dorrs didnt fly open on their own either.  There is also a strange extra `joint` in the door that isnt on the original and i cant see why its there.

Alt Prowl is taking too long damn it! It'll be nice to get he and Skids Some new molds to fool with. Please Jag, spare me the whole "I dont have to wait. I've had em for 18 months so  :tftongue" *wishes I had Jag's wallet*

I agree wholeheartedly with this review. Personally I think prowl is the worst BT to date. Not just for the quality issues either (which do play a very large part).

Aside from the color scheme, he really bares little to no resemblance to g1 prowl IMO. It's like his older, fatter brother or something. Case in point:

Binaltech Prowl is a big fat (no pun intended) disappointment.  :tdown
