This was initially done as a pencil sketch, then redrawn in Adobe Illustrator.

This is the original pencil sketch. The Illustrator version will serve as the ground work for the colored version which will be done in Adobe Photoshop.

should've kept the line weights you had in the original pencils

the illustrator version looks bad compared to it

great job none the less

i love the pencil shading

That is great work Verse, better than some of the boxart that has been around lately :thumb

The reason why the lines in the illustrator version was done that way is so that when I take it into Photoshop I can select each shape individually as the case might be. The thing is, most of the lines seen on the drawing now will be replaced by light and shadows and hot spots. I hope I was able to give you a better unberstanding of what my intentions are. By the way the colored version will be posted this weekend along with sketches to an original character of mine.

Top notch quality….really really good. You might want to think about going into the comic biz if you’re not in it already. :thumb

Thanks Snowman81 for the advice but I'm afraid to comit to rigours of comic art right now, the deadlines might take away from the consistency in the artwork besides the guys at DW comics are doing a great job. I would love to do cover illustrations though. By the way I have some new suff at hand including a character of mine, so look out for them.
