i realized something about the BW cartoon.

Recommended Posts

I think the biggest plus for BW was it was written and created by North American writers who knew what they were doing and understood the genre vs. the one-shot season then reset for next season that dominate Japan culture.

For the 1,995 time :pfx

Really, BW just got better as it went on. If it stop like an Japan TF series and rushed everything it would of been crap.

Yea the first episodes were pretty stupid.

guys the scripts were written BEFORE the Animation...so it wasnt being limited by anything and they werent "forced" into anything...they made exactly what they wanted to make, the whole plot of BW being post G1 on earth was just one of MANY ideas to use for BW, they just decided to go with a more complex version

As I remember, it went something like this:

1. First episode of BW airs; features a reference to a past "great war"

2. G1 fanboys go apesh*t; think it's a reference to the "great war" in G1

3. Forward/DiTillio see this and decide to run with it

we need more tf show like bw, with depth and character build, would it actually hurt to have more seasons? :roll

I'm glad they didn't appear on future Earth. 2 story tall bad guys tearing though the city seemed more realistic. Can you imagine imagine the Predacons landing in a gang riddled neiborhood shouting,"All right humans! We own this terratory now! You are all our slaves!!" They'd get their asses beat! Most of them are smaller than humans I'm willing to bet Waspinator is about 4'9". Not to mention how would they fend off military attacks. We'd be right back to Madhammer's favorite technique of Robots in Disguise.

I also remember Dinobot yelling at Megatron "This isn't Earth!" boy that ruined it!
