The remold isn't terrible, but I'd much sooner aquire a Rid Issue of it.

 

The only ones I'd bother with if at Walmart would be Chromia, Ironhide, and Buzzclaw.

 

The Cyberjet, and Strongarm redecos don't do anything for me. :roll

BWII Galvatron looks more like Dethzaurus in robot and beastmode than RID Megs...

 

I mean if you repainted him exactly like Detzaurus and gave him a remolded head he would look much more convincing

Yeah, but then you'll have everyone telling you that the BWII Galvatron mold wasn't available from Hasbro. :roll

I like it. He sorta remindes me of one of the Sweeps.

 

BTW, whoever is getting this set is getting hooked up IMO. I wish I had $265.00 because I would be all over this.

High 5! 'Bout time someone gave it up on the Cyclonus/Scourge lovin'.  IMHO, Cyc was EASILY the most intriguing and well written Decep in all of G1.  I dont think any one character had half the development and personality he did.  Scourge is up there also, but I gotta admit some of the reason I liked him was that kooky moustache/beard combo.

I was just going through this thread again, and the TM2 themed repaint of RiD Megs got me thinking.  I have both figures next to each other on my shelf...And somehow, it just doesn't seem necessary.  Would you really be excited for it?  Granted, the Death re-mold looks kinda lame now, but after Galvatron, I think they should have left the damn thing (RiD Megs k) alone anyway.

It's a very nice mold. I would even go as far as saying that I like its dragon mode better than that of TM2 megatron. The thing with dragons is that different colors invoke different personalities and almost all colors would work. Therefore, I would not mind a flaming red recoloring of RID megatron. I wouldn't get too excited about it either though.
