You folks could team up with someone who is going and hasn't registered yet.  *IF* you don't care about the box, an additional 7 loose figures can be piggybacked onto a full registration for $140.  Not a great price either, but still better'n $265.

 

FWIW, I never cared for the Cyberjets, but that Ricochet repaint is pretty darn sweet.  Ironhide is...adequate.  The funny thing is when I read the announcement, I thought it said "Ironhide and Ratchet"...which it should be, dangit.

i am 100% serious

so far im looking at 4 figures of a set of 7 that cost 265 USD! for me, its gonna cost like $320.  thats like 45 bucks a figure!  3 of which are just repaints of figures of molds that arent even highly desired...and then the other figure (ironhide) is a figure that the fans have wanted for so long, its been kitbashed soooo many times, its not that special.

The only unconfirmed characters as of yet are Deathsaurus and Dirge... and with the flood of basics I'm guessing that at least one of them will be deluxe-sized.  My biggest bet is on Dirge being a repaint of Dirgegun (deluxe size class) since they seem to be following the names pretty closely.  Deathsaurus I couldn't imagine though, as the original is way too far back in history for this set, but as he's acknowledged as a leader maybe he'll be a larger size class than the others?

 

That also leaves the question of how those Arcee repaints will break down, as well as what figure is going to be the attendee exclusive.

Man Ricochet looks sweet finally something good, very much digging it, despite taking Ironhide from a very sub-standard mould to their credit they have actually made it look somewhat respectable.

 

At any rate I am still disappointed with the exclusives, I would have very much preferred maybe going with 2-3 exclusives and picking some of the better moulds out there and doing a good job on them then going with a whole bunch of smaller less inspiring ones.  Ya they might come out with something cool to cap the set off with but frankly the ones we have seen to date I could really do without especially if it meant cutting the cost.

I personally found Towline one of the best molds in Energon and think the Iron Hide redo is excellent.  Buzzclaw was my favorite Fuzor so I'm excited about that redeco.  The other two don't do much for me, but I'm eager to see Chromia Dirge and Deathsaurus

Some of these figs look nice enough and if I could get them for the regular store price I would buy them without a single doubt. Ironhide, especially since this is the first time we got a fig that looks like the G-1 cartoon/comic version.

 

Most of the figs, however, I wouldn't buy if they were on sale.

 

Good for you who bought them and will enjoy them, but not for. Simply not worth it for me. I have some of the molds, I have an airbrush and paint (but I want Krylon fusion  :tfsad ) so if I want them, I'll make them.

I like ironhide, but I can't give up my birthday just to have him, and that jet.  Also, guys we have seen chromia, she ain't that great.  I wonder if the other two bikes are exculsives??

I can tihnk of a figure that is worth that much. the original Powermaster Prime mold. I'd pay that damn much to get a complete one. i have one, but it's all chewed up due to my doggies. :redface Plus I got it second hand, and it never came with the powermaster, the combined mode head, and any of the guns.
