the simple answer: too much

$9,576.00 on everything TF related, ie the figures themselves, the display cases and lights for them, the DVDs, etc.

 

I really got into actually collecting in '97 when I first realized there was a new line out (Beast Wars), and since then I have gotten most of the newer toys and gone backwards and gotten many many of the first 3 years of G1.

 

I have spent way too much money (and I need to spend another $800 on a new display case that I want, dammit!!!), but I love it.

Somewhere between 3 and 4 thousand.

I started collecting pretty much because of Beast Wars...then I bought all the old episodes on VHS from ebay...big waste of money.....but I was in college and didn't have alot of disposable income...it was probably a few hundred a year until last year....then..BAM..$3k.  I love online toy stores. Also, not being a student and making some coin helps out too.

Although, I've been wanting to take it easier this year...so I haven't spent much...yet....

Well I have 3 BTs roughly $50 a piece, 7 Takara Reissuses $35-50, $20 Prime $70, Countless BW, Ebay G1 wins, RiD, BM, A,E and C. Probably like between 3-4000 dollars.

 

I forgot about DVDs, Comics and other related material. I'll keep the same estamate though.

I don't even want to think about it.

i started for collecting from last year,because the TFs were disappeared in my local city for a long term.so when i saw them again ,i decieded to keep them without a second.i think if you like this job you wont care how much you spend on it!!!so keep doing on it !

Most of you probably have a much larger collection then me so there is no way I spent more.
