I hadn't noticed all those connections, but they wouldn't be "robots in disguise" if they didn't look like something, right? ;)

ok dont everyone attack me at once

Alright guys, 'Single-File' again...... :tflaugh

Yeah, Mattimus, I'm sure I'm not alone in seeing Blitzwing in GF-Megs 'Jet' mode too....

Has anyone Started a Complete 'Homage-List' yet?  It would be cool to see what other 'Tributes' fans have deciphered from the Newest Series (or 2!)

Has anybody noticed yet that Cybertron Prime is a homage to Powermaster Optimus Prime.  I have, It's the way he transforms.

Goku here just said what I wanted to...

Optimus really is an homage to the Powermaster Prime with his transformation. Also to the MP version with how his legs are.

He also shows a great deal to the the RiD Fire Convoy because of his mode.

Hotshot plays tribute especially to Hot Rod. IRL also showed that Megs plays a lot off of the Asuka (?) from Cyber Formula.

I'm sure a line this big borrows from other things a lot. It'd be hard not to.

i'm personally happy we finally got a pseudo WW starscream :P

Prime actually reminds me of a couple of Primes.

His chest looks like the RiD Prime chest, but a little like G1 with the "grillplate".  His wings remind me a little of the Apex Armor wings and his head reminds me of Big Convoy with the horns, and regular Primal with the mouth.  The legs remind me of PM Prime's legs.

In this case no Transformers series is original.

Optimus Primal Gorilla=....Gorilla

G1 Prowl= Datsun

Alt Tracks = Corvette

Transformers are all about realistic, recognizable earth disguises. Im willing to bet that if they could afford the licenses they make all transformers real life vehicles.

also, he has pipes on his forarms like hot rod. he even has a "shirt collar" just beneth his head.

Cybertron/Galaxy Force is meant to be another remake of the series, so I'm not surprised of the similarities on alternate modes.

i always thoght nitro look more like speedracer's car (not sure on the name but its a realy old show with a racing theme)
