ok dont everyone attack me at once  but is it just me or have anyone else noticed these things or similarities:

 

crumplezone=trike from dune

 

red alert= dodge magnum

 

hotshot=opal speedster

 

ransack=tron bike(maybe )

 

vector prime- sith infiltrator(thats what statred me noticeing evrything it been ponted out many times)               

 

override=scorpion from star trek nemesis

 

starscream=war within

 

and i say the leaders are homages to past incarnations  such as star convoy and rid megatron(well the car mode)

I don't think they're 'unoriginal' at all, but there may be homages in there, much like how Energon Cruellock and Signal Flare were Godzilla homages, or all of the G1 homages we find everywhere, particularly in Energon.

 

Having said that, I think the GF molds are some of the most striking and unusual we've ever seen.

asfor gasket being kanada's(sp) bike from akira thier a close match but the way the rider has to sit is way different idd have to go with a cross of that tron bikes and the stuff from the X-tream G games

 

i always thoght nitro look more like speedracer's car (not sure on the name but its a realy old show with a racing theme)

i agree as well just pointing out that with gf/cybertron they are being  a little bit mre obvious with their borrowing of "ideas"

i agree that they sotra looked at blitz wing to get an idea of how to turn a land based alt mode into somthing like a jet shame the jet mode is a little weak

i agree on the xgra bike comment and also abot megs weak jet i agree it loooks lame but it works
