Either way...I've not been interested in the reissue line much 'cept I recently bought TRU Prowl but that's about it

I have Trypitcon and Gigastorm

 

Gigastorm is practicly missing ALL of the trypticon parts, Tank, Ramps, sonar and missles, etc.

 

They either lost the molds to those parts or they just wanted Gigastorm self contained

 

the only part of Gigastorm that was remolded was the horn tthat was initaly the head gun for trypticon

maybe they wanted to save money by not releasing the parts for gigastorm which is a possibilty too

I have to agree. Complaning about how G1 reissues are bricks is kind of like saying that you don't like vintage cars b/c they don't have a GPS and a CD player. Well, no sh*t. That's not the point, is it? I think it's great that they're not only recoloring Galvatron (something fans have wanted for years), but they're also remolding his head.

 

I just hope that his final color isn't Grape Ape............ :redface

Masterpiece Prime and Alternators have spoiled transforming robot toy junkies...it's so true...

Pretty neat they decided to do a Galvatron reissue in 2005, it's no upskirt, but it's the other OTHER fanservice.

Well, personally, I only started collecting Transformers because of Alternators and MP Optimus Prime.  I realized that I don't care for G1 toys at all.  I realized this after being able to get some reissues real cheap, but having absolutely no desire to buy them. I never had very many TFs as a kid, and I never wanted every single one in the first place. 

 

The only reissues that I would ever buy without question are Dinobots, in original colors or cartoon color schemes if they decided to do that.  Other than that, I just have no interest in G1 toys. 

Wow that is so cool that there reissuing him like this. Only bad part is now I have to buy him (wasn't plaining as I already have a mint one and one I painted in G1 colors, which I might add I do like mine better, but it doesn't transform :tdown ). I will be gitting this but on that note I really hope they fix the colors more as they are still not toon accurate. It really sucks that they put that movie pix next to him as they show how wrong his is. The knee caps should be red. The thighs should be grey. The mid arm should be grey. His neck should be grey (his body just looks better poportioned like this and its toon accurate). The wheels should be black and grey. Still though this is bad ass and I can't wait to get a more accuate G1 (transformable) Galvatron. Also as they don't show side pics I really hope they pianted the grey on his arms and black on his legs like he should have ( I never appreciated how detaled this toy was untill I painted my extra one, the only reason the G1 toy looked like crap was lazzyniss in the painting.) For anyone who care heres what mine looks like.
