Seriously, I have no idea, though Shocky is my fave of all time.

I think it's a simple upgrade for him to maximize his power from his weapon mode into his robot mode.

He is better without it IMO.

I'm thinkin it could be an animation error myself.. shocks appeared on TV long before his toy was avaliable..

He had 2 hands???  I guess I'll be watching mtmte again.

I always thought he lost it because he had to to get his alt form. He needed it for the cannon.

That could work.. but he was in alt form when we first see him in MTME.. :tfgrin
