U.S. G2 Megatron in Foreign Packaging?

Recommended Posts

yeah i got it. the pastic quality is just as good. the down side is no sound unit. which doesent bother me as instead of him saying im megs yah yah yah i ca get a tank sound box with engine ,tred and firing sounds. that was a good price as well $10 but if the seller had multiple it could have been dodgey

The packaging is for the Korean BWII Megatron tank mold. (He was released under a different name for the line, and for the life of me I cannot remember it)

It's a Takara/Hasbro original mold, just licensed to the Korean market.

However, according to his auction and it's pictures, he's put a G2 original Megatron in a Korean BWII box. (at least, I don't remember the BWII figure looking like this one.)

All in all, it's a good figure and you won't have to worry about getting junk out of this auction. You might have to worry about their feedback though. (Lack of that is)

Thanks guys. I'm aware of the Beast Wars II release of this mould (as Megastorm) but he states very clearly this isn't it. What confuses me is "THIS AUCTION IS FOR A UNOPENED TRANSFORMERS

GENERATION 2/BEAST MACHINES MEGATRON TALKING GREEN TANK". If it's unopened, how did it get into Korean packaging?

It does indeed appear to be G2 Megs instead of BWII Megastorm. You can tell by looking at the paint apps. Megatron had purple in his camou, but for Megastorm they changed it to a somewhat more realistic brown.

The unopened part is the only mystifying aspect, IMO.  The pictures are clearly of an opened box.  :)

Otherwise, I think he made it clear he just stuck a U.S. version G2 megs with import packaging to sell as a set. For some reason.

Yea it even has the Korean file card in the box.

Just checked and he only has one for auction now. Last night he had about 12 of them.

He's a new seller, he probably just messed up listing his auctions.

What bugs me is this:

EQUAL FEEDBACK GIVEN IE 1 POS FEEDBACK GIVEN FOR 1 LEFT

1 NEGATIVE FEEDBACK GIVEN FOR 1 LEFT

That's just not how it's supposed to work.  I (as a seller) try to give positive feedback as soon as I recieve payment, and expect feedback once the person recieves the item.  People who use the threat of negative feedback even after you've paid for your item really piss me off.  I've got over 150 positives and one negative, and the one negative is from some jackass who sold me a lot of 4 G1 minibots I bought only for Brawn, and the Brawn in the photo on the auction was in mint condition.  The one I recieved however, had a busted foot, and would hardly stand.  When I emailed him like 3 times, he never replied.  So, I left a neutral feedback for him, saying that the item was broken and he never replied to my emails... he THEN left me negative feedback that said "Did not read auction, upset over $4 item" even though the auction said nothing about the photo not being the actual items being sold.

But I'm not bitter.  :redface

The same crap has happened to me. I know tell seller's they will not get feedback until THEY have given, seeing as how I have completed my part of the transaction already. You'll get positive feedback once I get the bloody thing.

Then I start emailing them to remind them of that fact, over and over and over. And then they somehow find it in their hearts to use the feedback system the way it was intended to be used  :tflaugh
