Sis bought it for me almost 7 years ago.  Sadly, it ended up being a junker for spare parts and repairs.

FT MAX FAKES? 

 

 

 

I have a Max fake that is downsized, about the same size as Metroplex.  Though mine is missing accessories, it did come with enough to give me the idea that it probably came with MOST of what the real one did.  Includes the head which transforms like a scaled down Cerebrose (unlike the URANUS 5 which has just SPIKE) And has the face plate for cerebrose, missing the rest of the head so I assume a little plastic piece would fold out to make a iddy biddy spike.  Cog is also present, though mine is missing its arms, both pieces are here.  Clear green chest window, working elevator and ramps.  Loaned Uranus's guns to this guy which work rather well. 

 

 

 

There was also a bunch of RED WHITE AND BLUE and CHROME cerebrose, spike and cog fake sets out there.  Same size and such as the real deal (I actually sold a Max with the fake head set once) and usually pretty cheap back in the day.

 

 

 

I think they also made fakes of the JR FT Max if I am not mistaken.  Unfortunately I have a real one and both the arms broke off (I know I should be shot) in a tragic falling down of my "WALL OF ACTION MASTERS".  The head for that comes off to make a little spike with add on legs.   The metroplex JR is just as cool.  I am surprised there were not more fakes of the full toy version of him.  I remember seeing maybe ONE and that was a fake blue Decepticon version.  Imagine a MetroPlex double sized, big enough to house the big cars!   

 

Any FAKE FT Max picts would be COOL to see posted here.  I'll see if I can dig up the one I went on about.  Found Cerebrose, but not the FT Max.

toy hell has the uranus-5 for $50 (a little high for me, but it's the only place I know of where to find one). The first pic is from their website. The next three are of my Uranus-5. It is of cheap plastic and parts fall off now and then. It came with 2 guns and the smaller headmaster. The back of the card is a copy of Fort Max's instructions copied from the originals.

Yeah, he doesn't have any left, that link is old and I was in contact with him awhile back... plus $50 is a bit much for a bootleg anyway

I was just pondering tonight about this fellow and I came to a question that I couldn't answer.

 

What version of this guy is the most rare?

 

G1 US Version?

G1 Takara Version?

RID Takara Version?

 

There is a Korean version too I believe, but I've see a number of them that are relatively(still a few hundred) inexpensive compared ot the rest.  So I don't consider him the most rare.

 

Anyone?

you forgot Fort max jr (takara). I'd put him on the same level with takara fort max, maybe a bit after it?

I don't count subline stuff, If we count Fort Max Junior we also have to count stuff like PCV's

well.i don't think we should buy Lucky draw brave maximus.

 

i think really rare of fort max is Japan MIB (unused) one....because of the sword
