Dreamworks definitely wants to. Hasbro definitely doesn't.

I've said this before... why dont they just use the alternators.... the toy line is there, the "big name" car companies  are on board and those who are not surely will once they find out the big movie is in the works... and involving steven spielberg, it just seems like it would work out perfectly,

they can scratch the alternator decepticons, and make the 30 dollar price point "military vehicles"STEALTH BOMBER is a great idea. They can build from the binaltech story line. Hell some of the appeal of robots in disguise was that you might actually see there alternator modes in real life... perfect alternators/binaltechs.

yes fan boys will want a remake... even i do alittle but think about...

new transformers for a new age...

masterpiece prime could be rebuild from a junk yard mack truck....

the old cars can come back - that takes care of the survivers of the movie, but still let optimus stay the old truck. They could correct the death of all the G1 characters buy giving them alternators modes, the decepticons could be new military vechiles to make them more menicing. why hasnt anyone thought of this already....

IIRC, Someone those "big name companies" are already giving Hasbro a bad time, VW for example.  They didn't want Hasbro to make a BumbleBee toy that transformed into a VW Bug (This is all IIRC).
