Un-true Cybertron News UPDATE

 

Our top head lines the president gets Prime to roll out for Iraq?  The softer side of Grimlock, and Body Snatcher Starscream?  And Lucas SEWS the Transformers???

 

Our first story for tonight comes to us from Iraq.  The new hot spot in a country at war, started by "Is he good, or is he bar" new REVERSE Prime.  The president in his earlier campaign to jump start the war in Iraq, adopted the TF’s slogan “Lets Rollâ€? to motivate the troops into action.  Several years since then, the Transformers are showing their support by turning beloved figure head Optimus Prime into a weapon of war.  Switching bodies, the “Heroâ€? Optimus prime head has been altered and placed on the Megatron tank body from the same line.  Some fans are outraged, feeling the true spirit of Prime should always be a TRUCK, others long for the “John Waneâ€? style character from long ago.  Prime can be seen here, arriving in BagDad asking for the nearest all you can drink oil buffette. 

Many people…and by many I mean me, have noticed the similarities in the new GF Starscream and arch nemesis Jetfire.  The nose cone of the jet in robot mode has an uncanny resemblance to that of classic G1 cartoon character Skyfire in structure (not to be confussed with toy counterpart Jetfire).  Was this toy based on that design, or did Starscreams GHOST take over the sleeping Giant and then have fun in the custom shop???  Or will there simply be a retool coming in the near future.  Kitbashers expected to flood the world with customs....IF it was not $50 bucks and 50 feet tall...

For many years, the ‘kick arse and eat it’ Dinobot Grimlock has been one of the favorite Autobots. Remade several times in newer Dino forms, Reincarnation this time round made him a car…a shinny silver new Mustang.  In order to be included with the new Alternators line, Grimlock had all his teeth pulled and exchanged for tires.  Fans have some doubts on the idea and wish for an Alternators or masterpiece Grimlock in robotic Dino form. 

 

--- BREAKING NEWS STORY ---  City guardian, Metroplex is in need of a water tower sized bottle of pepto when he accidentially farted blowing a crater sized hole in the ground.  Reports have come in that he had run for the border and ATE an entire Tacco Bell restaurant.  The resulting meal caused an overload in his digestive system which resulted in something nasty.  Side kick Scamper simply said “DOH!â€?  Guess there’s no more drive through there.  A witness on the street, also a Transformer had “YO QUERO LA CASA DE TACCO?!?â€? to say.  So that’s what it takes to feed a building complex sized robot. 

Finally tonight we end with this, a spokes person from Lucas Films has announced they are taking the planet Cybertron to court for allegedly stealing the plans to the “Star Destroyerâ€? and using them to build Vector Prime.  We went to interview Vector who stated that he is millions and millions of years old, and it is Lucas who ripped him off.  Courts are deliberating on the definition of Lucas’s “A LONG TIME AGO, in a galaxy far far away.â€?  Just how long, and how far has yet to be determined.
