SDCC Optimus Prime Licence Plates Recovered!

MISC: The licence plates that were reported earlier as stolen at the San Diego Comic Con, have been recovered. Transformers Live makes not that the person who helped to find them, was rewarded for his efforts with a 20th Anniversary Optimus Prime figure.

thats exactly wut i was thinking. Either way i would have held hasbro up for more. I would have asked for more than just a 20th. Like the whole Cybertron line to date :mwahaha

na why cybertron line GALAXY FORCE -more figs :tfevil

maybe it was the person who initially took it. Perhaps the story of special made figures as a reward for the return of the plate enticed his/hers greed to come forward and return it. (or narc on the would be thief) See what greed gets ya?

I get the feeling that Dreamworks perhaps hid the plate somewhere, and if you found it and were honest enough to turn it in you were rewarded with the 20th Prime.

 

(I base this on the fact that just happening to have a 20th Prime lying around seems a bit convenient don't you think?)

Aw c'mon this is Hasbro we're talking about. You know, the guys who manufacture and sell Transformers? :tftongue

Considering it would cost them $50 bucks or less to make another plate, I'd say a 20th Prime is nice.
