Cybertron Scourge is...

Flame Convoy/Scourge is a poorly designed and under engineered toy :(

Every line has a "brick".  Heck, Beast Machines, the super posable line of doom gave birth to Blastcharge with a whopping SIX points of articulation on a Deluxe.  And even if he doesn't have knees or proper hips, he's still a kick-ass toy(and his Universe packaging didn't have a single twistie tie...wiggy).

Now, if you want to call something a brick, say G1 Hound, or G1 Broadside, or even Universe Whirl.  But Scourge?  Don't go crying the second a toy doesn't have ball joints.

Have to agree on that one.

The G1 toys were bricks and just because Scourge has less articulation it does not make him a brick. He is still posable but not as much as other figures.

The gimmick often account for some unposability and I always take that in account too. He looks cool just like Blastcharge so I am going to get him.

:pfx with EM. Compared to everyone else in the line he is disapointing. Granted he can get some decent poses but just imagine how much better he would be if he used the same type of shoulder joints as GF/Cybertron Starscream and had wrist articulation :(

Scourge isn't a total brick (see: Overload) but he is a brick nonetheless.  His arms suck, the legs are Beast Wars/Beast Machines design revisited (see: Transmetal 2 Cheetor for legs).  We should be getting toys that are better than stuff we got 5 years ago.  Scourge is the perfect toy for Beast Machines.

Hell, I'm slightly disappointed with Hot Shot too, in particular, the legs.

The main thing that hurts him is the wrists, if they could turn he'd be a lot better. It's just one of those minor oversights with a big impact.

Other than that........

You're all just a bunch of spoiled fans crying over nothing.  :tftongue  Try posing G1 Sideswipe or Megatron and see how far you get. He's an absolutely awesome figure, or at least Flame Convoy is. I haven't seen a Scourge yet so maybe, just maybe, they might have screwed the paint apps or something.

I don't have any G1 figures thankfully.

Some poseability lacking? Yes. Full fledged BRICK? No.

While Scourge may have the least amount of poseability compared to the rest of the line, he does at least look good. Although, I can understand some of the frustration over his posability issues seeing as they are seemingly lazy oversights like wrist articulation - if he only had that I'm sure a lot of the dissatisfied feelings that people have towards the figure would stop.

No...Overload and Armada Scavenger come to mind when I think of  21st century bricks...especially Scavenger, seeing as he didn't even have any real gap between his legs to even give the illusion of having any.
