Seriously, you got no room to talk Nevermore. After your extensive lies and spin around the Primus being shown at SDCC and someone getting fired over those images getting out, neither of which were true, I am surprized you even show your face around here. Then again, you are a master of the asinine.

Too true.  Not to stir the pot, but it occurs to me that we never would've seen Primus had those pictures not been leaked.

Back on topic, did any of those cards happen to give a release date for Prowl or Decepticharge?  D-Charge = august, Prowl = september, and Sunstreaker = October would make the most sense to me, but I'm hearing August now for 'Streaker.  Can anyone clear this up for me?

You want that addressed? Here ya go:

Someone getting fired:

Hooks originally stated at the Allspark that someone got fired because of the Primus image laking. When asked who got fired, his response was "does it really matter?" I'd like to provide a link here, but unfortunately they either deleted the thread or moved it to a staff-only area. I also talked to Hooks in Iacon Hub later, but he didn't tell me about the identity of the person who got fired.

Either way, I wanted to know more (and make sure it was not the person I was afraid about), so I asked another contact about who got fired, and he told me it was "some noob at Hasbro". That source never gave me a reason to doubt anything he told me, so that was confirmation enough for me.

Primus being revealed at SDCC:

That might have actually been a misconception, based on this report:

http://toynewsi.com/news.php?catid=168&itemid=7614

At the point TNI reported this, it was already evident that a pic of Primus was being forwarded between people with so-called "inside contacts" in not-so-secret, so it soon became gospel that Primus would be the "big revelation". And then, Kickback hinted at TFW 2005 that the "mystery announcement" would be either Primus or the Beast Wars 20th Anniversary thing. When the pics of Primus broke, it seemed "obvious" that this was what Hasbro had planned for SDCC.

Not that I believe you would care either way, since you had no problems posting the Soundwave pic even after you already knew that the "leakage" of the Primus pic was absolutely not in Hasbro's interest.

When in fact, Hasbro had absolutely NOTHING planned for SDCC.  What I'd like to know most is, who was responsible for THAT particular lie?

All speculation was originally based on the initial TNI story I linked above.

Which was apparently referring to the Sunstreaker & Galvatron preview.

The leaking of the Primus pics has set up high hopes among fans, which were obviously disappointed.

Could've sworn there were toys in some of the SDCC pics I saw...

If only you had access to some sort of computer based network that allowed you to buy the toys from various 'virtual shops'

but I'm hearing August now for 'Streaker.  Can anyone clear this up for me?

Since it's 1/2 thru July, i think we'd have seen a boxed sample since.....

My (guess)  would be that he'll be after Prowl.

It's true that many UK fans have given up buying in stores, because it's random what we get (or overstock in some toylines) and waiting often doesn't pay off... it's also sometimes cheaper to import from the US and Japan because of the good exchange rate. It does weaken domestic sales, though how much is anyone's guess.

Denyer, if you don't know what I'm referring to, don't be an ass.  There was "supposed" to be a "big surprise" planned for the SDCC, but I don't know that Hasbro ever actually made that claim themselves.  I just wanted to know who the guilty party was behind it.
