Ok, check this out. I was up at 3AM this morn and couldn't get back to sleep. I start to read the childrens book "Transformers: Armada, Race for the Mini-Con Robots". Apparently Sureshock, the Mini-Con, is female. Here's the quote:

"I have located Optimus Prime," She [sureshock] announced. "He is high in the mountains not far from here."

"Great!" exclaimed Alexis. "Let's go find him." (pg.26 near the bottom)

This book is rather plain of course, but it does mention that Cybertron itself is a Living thing, with it's own will (very few TF books have this bit in them).

Its true check out Tranformers Armada More than meets the eye issue#3

I like the fact that the Mini-cons talk in the comics. None of the "beep-beep" crap. The Mini-cons would have been less like Pokemon ripoffs if they actually had dialogue, IMO.
