i also noticed that they said it was popular world wide. :grr hasbro uk are you paying attention to this?

and hasbro fumbles the ball :tdown

at least it's got the green light.

sigh........................

patience young hunter........

I like the '07 release date.  Having not even begun casting, let alone principal photography, I thought that '06 release date was crazy ambitious.  No decent CGI-driven film gets made and released in that amount of time.

How is this Hasbro's fault? Geez. Are they responsible for AIDS and world hunger too?

I am sure that I am in the minority here, but I actually like the news. In terms of boxoffice, summer blockbuster make lots more money than Thanksgiving releases. If they have staked out the 4th of July, then they are going after the big dollars. They are aiming this to be a major summer blockbuster, not just some campy movie. I hate waiting, but the 4th of July, that is where the big boys play. Just think of all the material that will get leaked in the next two years. :)

it's more along the lines that hasbro thinks this is big news but still has yet to give anything tangible.

YOU have yet to give anything tangible, but were not kvetching about it.

Hornet, since when is it Hasbro's responsibility to move the film forward? They're not the ones producing it - Dreamworks is.
