If it were Star Wars vehicles turning into robots....cool.  If its characters transforming....DUMB!

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

$100 says it's SW characters that transform into SW vehicles like those Power Ranger transforming figures.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

And Ninja Turtles.

And Marvel characters.

And Animorphs.

Probably lame. We'll see.

I DISAPPROVE!!! :grr

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

you would!! lol

As much as I'd dislike Darth=>Imperial Shuttle, I think I'd dislike Megatron=>Imperial shuttle even more.

I'm 95% sure this line will disappoint and fail.  Unless completists can keep it alive.

I know who WHEELIE would be - GENERAL GREIVOUS - bike!1!

BOTH

LEGENDS

THE BEST OF THEIR UNIVERSES

UNDER - USED BY THE WRITERS !!

if they can take the vehicles and do them like vector prime then they'll have no problem, and they'll sell, hell he's 1 of the only bots i want, but if they pull that animorph crap (which i think hasbro learned from) then this will sink faster than the titanic after hitting that iceberg also if it hasn't been done, could someone please digibash vector prime into sith like colors

Odds are that this will turn out to be a source of bemoanment for TF and SW fans.

Why bother? SW toys must be doing well, and TF's are doing pretty well.

If they wanted a crossover, it should've been with G.I.Joe.

tch. it would only work well with G.I. joe if they did the same thing that they did last time, put them in the same comic. i mean. i can't see myself liking a toy of Duke turning into a tank. or Snake eyes turning into a jet. ugh.

I have to agree with the previous two posts, GI Joe is perhaps the perfect companion line to transformers. Not only does Star Wars take place in a galaxy far far way, the characters, planets and situations never come close to our solar sytem. With GI Joe, there already is some history with comic crossovers throughout the years, I mean in the old Marvel Cobra Commander gave Megatron a new Alt mode! (he also appeared in a G1 season three episode!) It would be cool if Hasbro scrapped the StarFormers idea and instead went with a GI Joe/Transformers crossover instead. They could do a Devils Due style toyline, have the transformers change into military vehicles large enough for the standard Joe figure to fit in. The history is already there. why not use it.

Y'know, I'm surprised no one here has tried kitbashing some Joe vehicles into TFs. Either that or I'm not looking too hard.

Keep in mind ... these are Star Wars Transformers, not Transformers Star Wars.

That being said, I think it will be completely tied into the Star Wars franchise, vehicle/character wise, and just be using Transformer technology and the name as a tagline for their purpose.

:pfx which they can legally do since they also own the TF brand
