After looking at Swerve, and now Sunstreaker & Red alert. How many repaints do you think they should have of each mould? And what characters?

I would love to see 4 of each mould. 2 'bots and 2 'cons.

 

Subaru Impreza:

(Smokescreen, Silverstreak, Red alert(TBC))

Scrap Red alert & give us Runabout & Runamuck!

 

Dodge Viper:

(Sideswipe, Dead End, Sunstreaker(TBC))

Sunstreaker's cool. How about a maroon one with a gold stripe called Wildrider?

Hear me out on this one. We all know Dead End should have been Wildrider, and Decepticharge is Dragstrip. So let's make amends on the Stunticon front.

 

Chevrolet Corvette:

(Tracks, Battle Ravage, Swerve)

A white one with a blue flame decal would be good for the Stunticon Breakdown.

 

Jeep Wrangler:

(Hound, Swindle)

A black one for Trailbreaker is a must! And I think Detritus (E-Hobby Hound repaint) would be a nice touch.

 

Ford Mustang:

(Grimlock, Wheeljack)

Soundwave for the Grimlock repaint, and Soundblaster for the Wheeljack one.

 

Mazda RX8:

(Meister, Shockwave)

I'd like the Red Meister as an Alternator. Either as Zoom-Zoom or Cliffjumper. As for another 'con, I'm not too sure. Maybe Sixshot (Energon Shocky repaint) but I dunno.

 

Honda S2000:

(Windcharger, Decepticharge)

I think Mirage could maybe fit this mould. And maybe Deluge for an obscure 'con repaint?

 

Honda Scion:

(Skids(TBC), Broadblaster(Who?))

I think the 'bots should be Ratchet & Ironhide. The 'cons could maybe be Frenzy & Rumble. Seen as Ravage got an upgrade!

 

Masterpiece Lorry:

(Optimus Prime, Ultra Magnus)

Scourge/Nemesis Prime is long overdue! And maybe a Motormaster to go with the "Stunticon" Alternators?

 

 

I know some of these are a bit ropey, (I was seriously running out of ideas!), but what do you guys think?

I see alot of good suggestions floating around the board, so I thought we could "centralise" them.

they will never do decepticons in the same quantity as autobots, never have and never will, 2-1 is gonna be as good as it gets, they perceive that the `good` transformers sell more.  I am sure there is a marketing reason for this, perhaps parents dont like buying kids `evil` robots ;)

just pointing out that breakdown was the lambo stunticon so to have him as a viper would make more sense than wildrider and wild rider should be honda s2000 as he was the same make as windcharger. my windcharger repaint as wildrider is in the repaints section of this site

Technically the BTA figs are the first straight up and down repaint figs with no remolding what so ever not even the heads. Swerve at least has his own face. I want Sunstreaker but it will feel a little weird having a con with the exact same face.

idd give runamuck and runabout to the Integra Type R mold maybe remold them to look like the pre-face lift model

I'm pondering doing the Seeker boys as Tracks repaints (Carscream, Roadwarp and... Well, I lack a catchy new name for Thundercracker). Just needs a head retool. Roadwarp will be easiest... New head on Ravage, repaint the red bits purple.

 

Runabout and Runamuck as Smokescreen repaints is actually a very good idea. I'll have to see if I can get a pair of Silverstreaks cheap.

 

Windcharger repaint? Rumble/Frenzy. I dunno, I just think it'd really look cool.

 

I'd love to see more 'Cons.

my wildrider (here) originally was going to be frenzy, being unable to remove the visor at first though the paint ran onto his face and decided it would be easier to create another stunticon.

 

i really need to think of a way of giving him his spikes on his head

The Jeep mold should be re-done as Sandstorm, and I saw Viagra Prime's Alt Soundwave done off of this one, it looks REAL good. And I like Jeeps in blue, so that one works real good for me.  I can see this being Ironhide, also. Fits his persona a LOT better than that goofy Scion does. Detritus would be good, but since thats an E-hobby thing I can see a weathered version being Wreck-Gar.

 

The 'stang should be done as Hot Rod, and Ford offers it in a lime green that'd make a NICE Springer. Would be a good soundwave also.

 

The Impreza should be redone as Red alert and Prowl, and cancel the RSX version of Prowl, instead use that mold for Cliffjumper and Rumble or Frenzy, seeing as how its too late for Smokes and Streak to get the RSX. Would have suited them WAY better than the WRX.

 

The vette needs a femme repaint, I dont care who it turns out to be.

 

The S2000 needs to be Wildrider and either Rumbe or Frenzy, depending on which gets the RSX mold.

 

The Viper should be Brakedown (since he was a lambo same as the brothers). Runabout/muck could work here too.

 

The RX-8 is another that might work for a femme.  I could see rumble or Frenzy here too.  Blaster would be good here. Since I didnt mind Kittyvette, maybe even Lazerbeak. But with talons for hands.

 

That xB? Who knows. Skids is a good fit for this. Same with Perceptor. Blaster, nope. Ironhide, ratchet, brawn? Double nope.

Hell, even Bumblebee would work for this better than those guys.

I don't blame HasTak for not releasing more Decepticons.  How many of the truly high-profile Decepticons were cars?  When we got Shockblast and Ravage, people complained.
