I have mixed feelings about clearance TFs. I usually buy the new toys when they hit the shelves. 6 months to a year later they are now knocked down 75% and BOGO'd with another figure.

 

Take Landmine for example. Great figure. Worth the $26+ USD price tag. Now he's $5.00 and comes BOGO with Scorponok (another great figure). So I buy 4 of them and sell them to troubled youth - what else can I do?

 

How do you guys feel about the red tagged Transformers?

I love it! The less they cost, the better!

You know, Toys for Tots is a great idea.... Wish I had some money and some TFs to buy....

 

If only the local W-M would clearance the Silverstreaks they have (about 10 of him....... )

It kills me when I see a Transformer I payed full price for on clearance, however I rarely see Transformers on clearance anyway so it doesn't matter that much to me.

 

If it is a figure I don't have, and I see him on clearance real cheap, I think it's great- who wouldn't!

Not to mention, Clearance doesn't always have the best selection.

TF's never go on clearance around where I'm at....  I waited for months when all the other TRU's started clearancing the G1 reissues, the only one I could get to on my lunchbreaks never put any of 'em on clearance, and then they just pulled 'em off the shelves altogether, never clearence'd 'em, pissed me off....

So how do you sign up to receive some TFs :punch

Nothing is ever on clearance in my area.

 

The first batch Smokescreen alt is still on our Walmart shelf. :tdown
