Seems very possible.  They did a great job with Unicron, but with Primus they need to go further and make him as round as possible.  Since Primus is most likely Cybertron itself, using skyscrapers as stilts to allow them to create a spherical planet could be a big selling point IMO.

I think that as you look at him he still is not entirely round, but is much more spherical and asthetically "planetish" than Unicron.

Considering all we've seen so far is an animation model, I do hope the end-toy is a bit more refined.  He may not need feet in the show for being in space, but he'll need feet for my shelf.... :thumb

For quite a few years, like many other people I wondered what a Primus/Cybertron Transformer would look like. I only started collecting Transformers again when I saw Unicron sitting on the shelves. (something which I'd also waited years for.)

I think Primus is pretty heavily-armed for the peace-loving ancestor/creator of the Autobots. Of course, even the Autobots wouldn't deny being 'warrior' robots in disguise.

If they make the actual toy exactly like the pictures we've seen, I won't complain about the feet. There are a number of cool Transformers with slightly odd feet.

After Unicron,  turning Planet Cybertron into a robot would have been child's play (With Unicron, the toy designers were somewhat restricted by fans expectations :-montrous planet alt mode, planetary rings, demonic appearance and wings, etc). That would leave the designers more time and energy to concentrate on the detailing and gimmicks.

I hope this guy's at least as big as the other Supreme-types so far (hopefully bigger), and I predict that there's going to be a lot of King Starscreams taking up space on the discount shelves.

I'm not liking Primus as a planet, being the creator and all that. It's like the rock lords except this time they just turn into a giant ball :roll

i'm betting primus and possibly a new movie concept design

Primus's feet look more or less sturdy enough to support the figure.

Almost kinda like a rocking chair, and considering how back heavy he is, it's going to keep him from falling down or collapsing that the waist.

hmmm, i wonder if Unicron and Primus are roughly the same sized. If so, you might be able to modify them later on to fit back to back, like a ying and yang planet

They would look like innuendo...
