Spotted this on TFW2005:

Weremole brought to our attention some news over from Zincpanic.com today regarding Binaltech. The news is, as follows:

- Toyota Bp Binaltech is BT-17 Skids arriving in November. Sorry, Ironhide fans.

- The "street" version of Prowl is titled "BBP" and is available the 28th of July.

- Binaltech Asterick series, or rather, girl versions of your favorite Binaltech figures. The only way to announce this is with a quote.

"alert featuring the WRX Prefecture Police meets Asterisk is a female cop. Sunstreaker featuring the Viper GTS meets Junko is a racing queen. (This means something a little different in Japan than it might in the US. Think "track bunny".) Broadcast featuring Toyota Bb meets Rumina is a quick to the scene news reporter. (...) Ships in September, September, and November, respectively."

Guess this means we'll get red alert, sunstreaker and blaster as repaints with female drivers, as well as BT-17 being skids and not ironhide. (just as the idea was growing on me)

:eek TEH NEWS!!! Nice find, bud :thumb

Weirdest BT news EVAR.

Maybe it's just my defense mechanisms kicking in, but I stubbornly refuse to believe that there will be a BT Sunstreaker until I hold it in my hands.

So Red alert in WRX mold and not Honda? Figures that fit in vehicle mode? Glad to see it might be Skids and not Ironhide

oh wait, the bots are male but they come with female drivers.

Microladies anyone?

Why be sorry about that? C'mon, the car fits Skids so much better. :puke

And we now get track bunnies with BT's? Wow, now I'll really switch to BT's only. :D

Sorry to burst your bubble.  No female Binaltech just yet http://www.TFans.com/talk/index.php?showto...ndpost&p=504599

So Asterisk, Junko and Rumina are the chick drivers of these BT's? I'd love to see these repaints (especially the Sunstreaker one) pink or powder blue just to mess w/ the folks that wanted a Sunstreaker BT/Alt...
