Looks great. I'm really impressed with the interior (despite part of the car's 'floor' is attached with the front doors). The seats, the opening trunk, front and back doors, as well as windows on all of these is very impressive. Also the robot mode looks considerably better than I anticipated. I'm hoping it's Ironhide personally due to preference for the character and the bulky look of his chest.

If this is Ironhide I think I'll be getting the BT version. With I name like that he needs to be heavy.

Do you have to pull out the front seats to TF him, or can they just fold down?  Looking at the hinge, I'm guessing they can fold flat and not be removed.

 

If Swerve and the ominous "Omega Unit" mentioned in BT Wheeljack's bio is any indication of HasTak's intent on using molds 3 times now, I'm thinking the Skids/Ironhide/Ratchet debate could be moot.  We may get 'em all!

 

And tman, c'mon - all that articulation and you're gonna let the waist joint (or lack thereof) bother you?  This guy is awesome!  Given the posability/articulation limitations of other Alts (Sideswipe's/Dead End's legs, Hound's/Swindle's arms, etc.) I'd say the review is spot on in saying this is probably the best articulation we've seen yet.

 

So this is probably #18 then, assuming Prowl is #17?

I agree 100%. Ironhide's head just doesn't look like that proto. I think people are just latching on to the name b/c of the alt mode.
