King Starscream With Cape

Recommended Posts

I had this idea to put a cape on cybertron starscream. And after that assemble a whole scene to that of g1. But im not sure what figure to use for galvatron other than e galvatron and mounting a repro cannon onto him. (note that i really wanna stay away from using g1 figures). Some suggestions?

The cape pegs for starscream, a perfect spot.

I thought about this awhile back and decided that he would look great with a cape.  Now for Galvatron, your idea sounds good enough for me.

Repro cannon?  What is this repro cannon for E. Galvatron you speak of?  Me wants!  :thumb

It's the one being sold at Transrepro. It doesn't fit him so you'd need to modify it.

should the cape be red or purple like g1?

g1 homage all the way!!!

i can only find velvet in red, i think ill start with that, and tomorrow, the sewing begins.

Since he already /has/ purple in his transparent parts (ugh, yellow woulda looked better) I say definately go with a purple cape because it would look better anyway. A red cape on the fig would be just too much red, methinks.

I think E. Galvy has a lot of potential... take off the wings and the rest of that extra bulk and it wouldn't be too hard to come up with a new scheme for him... though you'd have to scratchbuild parts for a new alt mode.

But hell, for this particular display he'd be in bot mode anyway so you could make him look VERY G1 just by mounting a cannon and taking off the jet mode parts and bulkiness.

I damn near bought an E. Galvy last week for that very reason.

*EDIT*

While I was typing this up you posted about only finding red velvet. That'll work too. You might be able to dye it if you wanted, but that's always messy and I've never done anything with velvet that wasn't black... so I've never tried dyeing it.

Purple satin would look great too... and you could surely find that in the form of a small pillowcase or something if the fabric store doesn't have it

wow satin...never thought of that, yeah that would be a better idea thanks azure.

i need to get an E galvatron + a g1 galvatron cannon mount and gun
