-I ask the question:

Does Energon Omega Supreme's Headmaster component have a name? Is it a separate entity? A Minicon? I never watch(ed) the show, so I may have missed the answer...

-And I offer an answer:

I figure it's along the lines of G1 Headmasters, performance-enhancing partner...

In the spirit of homages to G1, I always called him Hi-Q

....yay fer me! My first topic!

He has no name in the show. His fan-name is "Omega". He's supposedley the real Omega Supreme and the rest of him is just a suit.

"The real Omega Supreme" Meaning the character, or meaning the original?

kinda like that Bruce Campell-looking guy from Megas?

Well Omega Supreme IS the original Omega Supreme in this universe. He's a warrior who fought Unicron with his "Sentinels" a very long time ago and went into stasis in a room deep under Cybertron's surface.

"Omega" may have been in existance well before Minicons.

In a way...

but he looks way better when disconnected from his battle suit.  :tftongue

Good answers for the most part however I'm going to look at this one fron Has/Taks perspective.

Omega Supreme is basicallly an elaborate battle suit, and the only reason his head detaches is to make room for Energon Optimus's. Since the head is already detachable why not make it a transfornable minicon as well.

Personally I would've rather seen Has/Tak scrap that who;e idea, and give us a cooler more aticulate figure with a decent head/face sculpt similar to how they did Unicron. Even with the colours as bad as they were it may have been one of my favorites opposed to one of my least.

I'm with the those that say the body of Omega is just a battle suit, Omega Supreme is nothing more than the head.

Its not a Fan Name, its his Japenese name, he dosn't have a name in America

From the Superlink special I took that the head is indeed Omega Supreme and he calls the body Omega Fortress.
