If it's transformers it is a suitable medium. I voted for tv show, comics, and figures, because all of them make the world come alive to me. Its part of why I write (nothing i have posted) about this stuff, it too helps the world come alive.

I'm in it for the toys

Even though I voted for the show (G1 and Beast Wars only).  I love anything to do with TFs.

I love the show more than anything, but to think where was a time (as an oldie) that I thought TFs were dead and buried (1994) its always cool to see anything related to it.

T.V. shows and toys for me. Never really picked up the T.F. comics , or even watched the movie all the way through.

I used to watch the G1 series when a young'un. I believe I even picked up a few of the items around the same time... :schin

After growing up quick, I lost connections with "kid stuff" and forgot all about the fun of collecting/playing with such toys. Until Beast Wars. Hoo-boy did I have great flash backs to a good child hood when I first laid eyes upon the television series!! Was on a trip in Phoenix, AZ. staying in a swanky hotel room with a couple of Video/Audio class highschool pals during a class project and they seen me geek out in full glory... not like that was a bad thing, but they sure thought I was a little weird after that. :redface

Anyways... the collection of certain B.W. figures came after that. Then a few of the Tin Box Spy Changers, ditto with Mini-cons/Energons and now a couple of the Alternators. Some of my childhood has crept back into existence and I'm liking it! :thumb

I voted toys. Comics/cartoons are good also but more of a bonus than anything.

I'm curious to know what medium you guys use to get your Transformers fix. :D

the CAT LADY up the road!!!

TV show

The figures are just representations of the character that you substitute the personalities into. At least I did as a kid.

*Curious* Did anyone NOT use the TV show personalities when playing as a kid?

Toys, comics, and cartoons.  But I tend to assume that cartoon is canon.

TV, I used to get the toys too before. It's no fun trying to collect things without money. :/
