G1 Starscream is in all our hearts, I'm sure.  Especially given the crossover with Cobra Commander, it helped to build something cool for all of us.

That being said, however, I think I like the Armada Screamer voice the best for the newer stuff, especially with the direction they're taking Galaxy Force / Cybertron.  He's not the original, but he's something new on the table that fits very well.

I'm curious how they'll manage him in the live-action movie, myself.

So, i'm niot the only one who thought he was a she when I was a little kid... My mother had to tell me Starscream was male, seriously. We were watching the Transformers movie and I made a remark about starscream being female and she corrected me. :redface

Even when I was young I was well aware of the fact that he was manbot. But I was also aware of the fact that he was a total wuss. I don't really find him to be the genious that some people would have you believe he is. He's just a whiny brat who wanted all the power he could get his hands on, and failed pretty miserably to achieve it for the most part.

As Galvatron said, "This is bad comedy."

Overall, Armada Starscream was better. He made that show viewable, despite the best efforts of the kids and mini-cons.

I have dl the movie just over 3 weeks ago, i heard Starscream's voice and i was  :wtf  i couldn't believe what he sounded like and i just laughed my head off when the sence was when his foot was trapped and he had to shot it.

"ARGHH MY FOOT!" Starscream from the movie.  :rofl

I even showed my brother it. The movie was anwsome, only porbably was he died and i couldn't believe it, i just cried  :(  now i know why he is always killed in the other series. It isn't nice.

as a kid screamer was one of my favs just cuz he stood out from the other bots and cons but with newer shows idd rather have a voice like GF screamers he sounds so much cooler

i always loved his voice. it wasnt until i got the series on dvd that i remembered that he actually screamed everything he said all of the time. i thought the guy who did starscream in bw was fantastic as well.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

in g1 he comes back as a ghost several times. and in bw as well. great episodes imo. its later learned that ss's spark is indestructable which explains his "ghost."

starscream';s voice was most definatley male, you could tell by the way that the lines were structured and his character in general (also all the main charcters were male up to season 3)

btw chris latta also did the voice of wheeljack and sparkplug

I always loved star screams voice.  I always thought that it fit him and his craziness very well. Towards the end chris latta did get a little extreme with it I think.

his voice was very fitting for his g1 persona
