Dunno of how much interest this will be, but it one for future reference.

Went into a TJ Hughes store today, you know, those big discount stores.

They had TF's.

Ok, they only had Armada Laserbeak (£4.99) and RID Mirage / Night Cruz / Scavenger triple pack (£9.99) in the one store I looked at, but have a look in your local stores and let us know if they have anything different.

In the run up to christmas, I think there could be some bargains!

Would never have thought of looking in there, but I went in to buy some cheap saucepans and though "might as well have a look while I'm here"

Then I went to Argos and bought 2 Alt Silverstreaks.

One is on my desk at work now. The guys around me will probably break it next time I go out for a ciggie, but right now, he looks cool. Get one while you can!

XyberToys have free P&P to UK.

The Entertainer has a flat rate of £4 to UK Mainland addresses.

These online shops have some good stuff and I'd recommend both.

ToysRUs have lots of G1 Jazz, G1 Starscream, G1 Powermaster Optimus Prime, Alternators Smokescreen, and loads of new(ish) stuff on their shelves. I've searched alot of stores in the East/SouthEast and I've found 1x Rodimus Prime (Hot Rod) and 1x Ultra Magnus. I bought both.

My missus found a MISB TRU Optimus Prime at a large car boot sale for £30 and I've found a few Beast Wars items for as little as £1 MOSC so I'd definately recommend getting up early on a Sunday morning & giving some a try.

Also, large Tesco stores are selling smaller Armada toy for under £2.50!!! Great for repaints/kitbashes.

Hope this is some help! Please visit my auction:

Well over a half hour ago, I was in my local town to see about being allowed to work since I'm not allowed to by law, I did a very quick look for TF's and I found Armada repaint Rhinox in Woolworths, I've hidden him behind the full shelf of Armada Role Play swords, I'll buy him next week if no one finds where I've hidden him. I hate Beast Wars toys, but it's not like there's much of a choice in my area. Wonder what the next one will be? Cheetor, Predacon or Airrazor perhaps? What a 'lovely' choice.

the predacon mold makes a nice kitbash grmlock though

ellismodels has a flat p&p and he has good prices on takara stuff as well as hasbro

the only beast wars reissue i wanted was airrazor just cuz i only have one other fembot being SL. Arial and she had a bad ass minicon but thats the only one i cant find

I don't know how to kitbash a TF and I don't have the hand/eye coordination for it. If I did, I would be turning my spare Supercon Prime into a Nemesis Prime/Scourge to make up for him never being released here. Would also turn my scoopless RID Grimlock into a TF called Hookshot, by adding a mix crane/cannon/sniper rifle to where his scoop should be, and then repainting him in blues and purples. But I don't have the skills for it.

My local Woolworths had 3 Rhinoxs (What's the plural of Rhinox? Rhinox's? Rhinoxes? Rhinoxi?) but they are gone and they have one Terrasaur. Wouldn't mind getteing a Cheetor. Hope they put him out next.

Woolies is weird like that. They don't put out all their stock at once. I thought they had sold out of Powerlinx Prime, bought one in Newcastle, brought it back on the plane and my local shop had three more of them out!

^

the same here i thoght they just had the normal primes but then right at then end they put out the redeco's

wollies over here in retford seem to insist on only displaying those fugly starsaber toys. i saw nemisis prime onece but only once. wish i had got him now
