Interesting idea

Ever since Rid/CarRobots, Optimus almost always had a black repaint, representing an evil version of himself. Now, I wonder....how would an opposite version look like? I mean, how would a GOOD version of Megatron look like? What would his main colorscheme be like? Red, white and blue, like Optimus Prime? Or something else?

It's kind of tough to decide, because for the most part a character in dark color is considered bad and a light colored is considered good. In Megs he is usually put in White/Silver tone which is usually used for good. I would go with blue with white detailing.

I'd like to see a blue and silver repainted Armada Megs. I think it would look less evil.

But... (according to rabid Deceptifans) Megatron IS good.....

:tflaugh1 You are so begging for a threadjacking

Anyways, a 'good' color scheme for Megatron I think would depend on the toy you were looking at.  I wouldn't have minded if the color scheme for RID Galvatron were in fact the good-guy repaint of RID Megatron (obviously it wasn't, but it would be a good choice for the mold IMO)  G1?  Maybe give him a white grip (like ivory instead of metal) but keep the rest the same (nicer face mold probably too).  Armada wouldn't look bad as a tan with olive green camo paint. uhm....I wouldn't mind seeing Energon in chrome for a goodguy version.  Gold for BW TM Dragon Megs.  Maybe...maybe white for T-Rex.  too many molds too many molds.

Megatron from Energon was not that dark, nor were RiD Galvatron and Armada Galvatron, yet they were evil ;)

Yea Megatron is the good repaint. Galvatron is the evil part.  :tflaugh

Yeah I know  :thumb , I was trying to say that in general dark is considered evil and light colors good. But in Megatrons and Galvatron cases it is kind of hard to change a color to make him a good guy. And actually Energon Megs does look like a good guy to me as far as his color goes.

Megs would look like several shattered pieces of plastic on my bedroom floor if he ever became tainted with all of that "horrible goodness"

*shudders*

Agreed, although why wast a perfectly good transformer?
